Who are the Reporters in NBA 2K23’s MyCareer?

NBA 2K23 MyCAREER allows players to chart their path towards becoming a legend; choosing a reporter is just one step and one of the many options left for you to decide the fate of your player. There are three reporters whose questions you can answer should you call on them:

1. John Luck

John Luck

If you struggled in your last NBA game or didn’t want to risk answering something wrong, pick John Luck, and you should be fine. Luck is, like some sports reporters, an access merchant who is happy to toss softball easy questions as long as he keeps getting to ask them. To use more slang, he’ll ask softball questions that don’t look to push buttons or garner an emotional response.

2. Nate White

John Luck

If you want to answer more challenging questions and are confident about how you played the game, you should pick Nate White. White does lean towards more hard-hitting questions and will push you towards more challenging situations. However, his questions aren’t malicious and can be an excellent way to prep yourself for the challenges of MyCareer, especially if playing on more significant difficulties.

3. Candace Green

Candace Green

While John Luck tends to be the safe option and Nate White the riskier, Candace Green fills the middle ground as a more balanced reporter. Her questions tend to stay within the realm of the ins and outs of basketballs, the Xs and Os. Green may also ask you questions after blowouts that trigger responses for style to the music. She isn’t immediately available as a reporter in your scrums and pressers, but a few games into the season, you’ll be able to select her for questions. Her questions tend to be more open-ended, so go with what feels right and pick answers that match the Leadership Skills you’re working on.

Who to pick in NBA 2K23 MyCareer between Nate White, John Luck, or Candace Green?

There’s no correct answer, unfortunately.  It’s dependent on your game and if you want to answer questions that are easy, average, or difficult (relatively speaking). Nate White is a far more challenging reporter in MyCareer than John Luck. He’ll ask tough questions and place you in a difficult spot, mainly if you played poorly. On the other hand, John Luck is much softer compared to Nate White and will happily toss out some easy questions for your character. Candace Green is a mesh of Nate White and John Luck and seems to be a more balanced reporter than the other two.

NBA 2K23 MyTeam Central: Modes, Cards, and Tips

NBA 2K23 MyTeam

The NBA 2K23 MyTeam feature has become one of the most popular ways to play the ever-popular hoops series. If you’ve been MyTeam blind, a brief explanation of the feature goes as follows:

MyTeam Modes: What to Play?

1. Domination

Five-on-five games NBA style with your best players against current NBA teams.

Domination is the closest to a regular NBA game as you’ll get to. This mode is a classic five-on-five scrimmage with your best players against current NBA teams. You’ll earn stars based on the difficulty of each game, and you must collect a certain number of stars to earn prizes to improve your team.

2. Clutch Time

Fast-paced five-on-five games with a shortened shot clock.

In a more fast-paced version of Domination, you’ll want to check out Clutch Time. Still five-on-five, this game mode differs because the shot clock is only 14 seconds instead of the 24-second standard.

3. Triple Threat

Three-on-three games with the first team scoring 21 points win.

For more space on the court, Triple Threat is a three-on-three contest, and the first team to 21 points wins.

4. Challenges

Complete specific statistical milestones and game moments to earn rewards.

MyTeam also has specific Challenges that task you with completing specific statistical feats or game moments.

5. Freestyle

Practice with your team to learn their moves and hone your skills.

If you’re looking to learn your players’ moves and practice, Freestyle allows you to spend as much time honing your skills.

MyTeam Tips

1. TT can be useful for low difficulty levels to hit 3 PM goals, e.g., for Ja’s Shooting EVO. At least the initial tier of Clutch Time also seems easy and easy to make 3-pointers. So I guess it’s better to level up the first Starter Card with TT or CT before going into Domination. Because at least you get the first card as a Ruby and another Starter Card.

2. Domination against weak teams on all-star difficulty seems easier than Clutch time offline on all-star difficulty. In case you want to EVO some guys and don’t want to risk losing the game because of it.

3. Offline modes are available for every part of My Team, be it a triple threat, freestyle, or clutch time. This is the recommended way to play My Team for beginners. Even try out the My Career option before starting My Team. Head to the single-player menu to hone those skills and get a feel for the players before considering the multiplayer menu.

4. When you first dive into MyTEAM, it is tempting to start spending NBA 2K23 MT Coins left, right, and center, excessively opening packs in the hope of landing a world beater. Before you do this, it is important to remember that many of the top cards will be unusable in a few months when the seasons change and new cards are released so that this option can be a waste of money.

5. Don’t feel awkward looking for advice in MyTeam. Players who don’t seek wisdom in the mode can easily find themselves at the bottom of the charts with a terrible team and an empty bank account.

6. Keep in mind that every year introduces new strategies, mechanics, and cards. This year is no different. Veterans of the series often get blindsided by new wrinkles they forgot about.

With this, our guide is complete, and we bring it to an end. And don’t forget to check all other NBA 2K23-related content U4gm.com offers and guides, such as how to buy NBA 2K23 MT fast and safely.
